(More customer reviews)ConAir's last flat iron was a big fat lemon. I loathed it so much, I refused to buy another one by this company. I went out and spent about eighty bucks for a HAI straighter instead. It's worth every penny, believe you me. But then I tried ConAir's new ceramic straightener. And man, was I floored.
I had to borrow a friend's, since I'd left mine at home. What a surprise! Heats up quickly, and hair glides smoothly past the plates, leaving hair not only straight, but shiny. I had gone to sleep with just-from-the-shower wet hair and woke up with a horrible resmeblance to some feathery 70's boufant do. A sweep over with the Conair ceramic flat iron left me with soft, shiny and straight hair in less than 15 minutes. I've had nothing but frizzy trouble since moving to SW Florida, and my hair refuses to go flat without the use of a good flat iron. I'm happy to say this particular ConAir flat iron makes up for a multitude of past sins, and doesn't put a dent in your budget. Comes with 2 brush attachments that slide on the side of the plates. Also features a "power" and "turbo power" button, which I can only assume means "turbo" is volcano-like hot, which is exactly what it felt like.

(More customer reviews)I have fine, colored, medium-blonde hair. I've got a good 1/2" of roots (a bit gray and a bit of darker blonde), and wanted to cover the ugliness for the week before hitting the salon.
A stylist recommended these products, and I've tried both the conditioner and shampoo. I didn't find good results with the conditioner (not enough color, and it made my hair smell funny). But then tried the shampoo... fantastic!
Directions tell you to use it every other shampoo, but I used it 3 shampoos in a row, and by the 2nd one, I definitely saw root coverage! I was really surprised. It gives a bit of that "home colored" all-over one-tone look, but that's better than gray roots!
Highly recommended!

(More customer reviews)This gel can create a natural look and feel. All the other gels I've tried make my hair hard, whereas this gel, if used right, can style hair but still leave hair pliable. I have s-curl hair and this gel completely straightens the top of my hair.
To straighten my curly bangs I wash my hair and comb it. Then I apply a thin layer of gel on top of my hair and cover the entire top of my head. It is useless to apply the gel in my hair, so I will conserve the gel by just applying it to the top. Then I place a fitted breathable cap on my head such as a light wool cap or a crocheted gimp. The cap should be placed carefully over the bangs so they are straight, because if the bangs are not straight they will dry out of shape. I wait about half an hour to an hour and then when I remove the cap my bangs are completely straight. However, they are stiff and so I comb them to make them pliable. Then I comb the top of my head and the stiffness disappears. This creates natural looking straight hair that is pliable, flies in the wind and keeps its straightness and no frizz. Normally, my hair is frizzy.
There are a lot of attractive colorful gimp hats so you can look great while your hair is drying. This procedure only curls above the ears but it is quick and easy so you have time to style the bottom layers of your hair if it's long or leave the bottom part curly. This is the best gel I have used and it can create stiff hairdos as well if you leave it on without breaking it down by combing it.

(More customer reviews)Honestly for me, this is equivalent to the Olive Oil version. I just like the scent of this gel better than the Olive oil version. This one smells like Apple Pectin brand of shampoos and conditioners to me. Like with the Olive oil version, there is a learning curve in getting the right proportion in getting defined curls and no crunchy hair. I usually mix mine with a leave in conditioner or a gel activator so it wouldn't make my hair hard. I will repurchase this again.
