(More customer reviews)This gel can create a natural look and feel. All the other gels I've tried make my hair hard, whereas this gel, if used right, can style hair but still leave hair pliable. I have s-curl hair and this gel completely straightens the top of my hair.
To straighten my curly bangs I wash my hair and comb it. Then I apply a thin layer of gel on top of my hair and cover the entire top of my head. It is useless to apply the gel in my hair, so I will conserve the gel by just applying it to the top. Then I place a fitted breathable cap on my head such as a light wool cap or a crocheted gimp. The cap should be placed carefully over the bangs so they are straight, because if the bangs are not straight they will dry out of shape. I wait about half an hour to an hour and then when I remove the cap my bangs are completely straight. However, they are stiff and so I comb them to make them pliable. Then I comb the top of my head and the stiffness disappears. This creates natural looking straight hair that is pliable, flies in the wind and keeps its straightness and no frizz. Normally, my hair is frizzy.
There are a lot of attractive colorful gimp hats so you can look great while your hair is drying. This procedure only curls above the ears but it is quick and easy so you have time to style the bottom layers of your hair if it's long or leave the bottom part curly. This is the best gel I have used and it can create stiff hairdos as well if you leave it on without breaking it down by combing it.
