I have a short hairstyle which is piecy and chunky and I have been looking for a substitute for Pantene's Pro-v Texturizing Pomade with no real success. This product is ok and provides hold but it dries quickly, which I could not relate to a wax. I will not buy this product again.

This Volupt Volume Building Spray-Gel by Sebastian is SOOOO AMAZING!
I have fine, thin hair. It is naturally dirty blonde but I color it a lighter blonde with lots of highlights and lowlights. I have never had any success with volume building spray. I tried John Frieda volumizing root spray and it made no difference. I don't generally use product on my hair because it just weighs it down and makes it look greasy or stiff.
I thought there was no hope...until I tried this product.
I have steam rollers that I use for curls and volume in my hair. Caruso - and they have been a MIRACLE for my hair. Seriously, look them up. Anyways, I don't need any hair spray or product when I use these rollers. I tried the spray-gel by Sebastian before I used the rollers, and the curl was visibly larger and the extra volume was noticeably there! I was amazed! Normally, by the end of the night the curl is basically gone and it's all flat by the next morning again. But when I used the spray gel, it was still voluminous the next day!!! I woke up with sexy hair! This was just astounding to me.
I have also tried it when just wearing my hair straight. I put it in and blow dried my hair for about 5 minutes (I was in a hurry) so it was still really damp when I left for work. Let me tell you - I still had so much volume! And it STILL lasted into the next day! This product really works.
If you are looking for more volume or think that your hair is limp and hopeless, GO TRY THIS PRODUCT! It is worth every penny! It also smells nice and light and feels light on the hair. Absolutely no greasiness or stiffness.
Highly recommended!

I failed to mention I'm a firefighter and let me tell you even after a fire I just remove my mask and helmet and reshape it. With in a few seconds its back to rock hard. I love it and buy it by the case. If you have ever seen "Something about Mary" you might remember the "hair gel" scene, well thats this gel.

Vacuum Stand Mannequin Head Holder Review

(More customer reviews)My base was purchased from ebay for less. The column is slightly different. The holder is made completely from plastic. Except for the rod and a metal plate embedded in the rubber foot. If you find a "C" shaped washer in the box, DO NOT discard it. It needs to be pressed onto the rod tip to keep it from sliding out. It should come assembled but mine was not.
Fully assembled my unit stands about 10.5". Depending on the depth of the hole on the bottom of the mannequin head, this raises it up 8 inches, or more. As you swing the metal handle it creates suction on any flat non porous surface. The box claims 8 to 9 hours hold if you wet the base. So far it is holding tightly on a laminated desktop. This makes wig styling on your mannequin head a breeze.
The locking ring for the rod resembles a ship's Tiller wheel. It appears to give a 40 degree slant in any direction. Rotate the wheel counter-clockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten. Again, no need to over tighten as the rod has a ball with little dimples for gripping. Over tightning can wear them off. Mannequinn heads simply aren't that heavy - even with large wigs.
It should hold any mannequin head nicely and firmly. It will last years providing you don't over tighten the Tiller, or damage the rubber base. Only clean the rubber with mild soap or plain water as not to damage it over time.

However, my husband started using it when he ran out of hair gel and he loves it. It lasts all day, and smells great! It has a nice coconut-type smell and makes his hair look nicely styled without being greasy or crusty. Very natural feeling when applied. Each tub lasts for more than a year. We will keep buying this product.

(More customer reviews)Typical pomades feel heavy and leave a residue in your hair that is difficult to wash out. I have tried others like American Crew and M.O.P. with mixed results. Got2b, on the other hand, has three things going for it that most pomades don't:
(1) It's lightweight
(2) It washes out easily
(3) It provides good texture and hold, yet still has a soft feel. No hair helmet!
I wouldn't recommend this product for those who rate maximum hold as their number one priority.

Absolutely no sticking to the hot iron and I get great style. And that one section of hair that won't behave? Just spritz a little and use the iron again to make it behave. (More customer reviews)Though this product is no longer made by Clairol, it is still the best mousse I've ever used and have been using for over 15 years. This product doesn't leave flakes when it dries or any extra residue, which other brands always tend to do that I've tried. There might be other, more expensive mousses that perform as I desire, but I don't want to waste my money when this $2-3 model does all I need it to. I prefer the extra-hold variety to the maximum hold, as the hold strength is good enough for me without being over powering. I initially bought the product at Costco, and though they eventually stopped carrying it I was hooked so I would buy it at Walmart. They too stopped carrying it, I think after Clairol sold the recipe, so now I have to get it online, or when I'm lucky, one of my local drug stores has it. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Most of the sprays with hold are sticky, not allowing the iron to glide through the hair & leaving those telltale horizontal lines in your sections. I like to lightly spray my hair sections with this after applying a smoothing serum, and I get smooth, shiny results that last into the second day. It smells delightful and is so easy to work with that I am planning on trying other products from the Kenra Platinum line. If you flat iron regularly and need extra hold, this spray is definitely worth it.

(More customer reviews)I have used a lot of expensive hair products, especially for straightening my hair. This is a strong spray but it is light and not sticky on your hair. No oils, no damage, it does not weigh your hair down. I have used it on myself (I have lots of hair) and on my friend who has thinning hair. It made her hair look thicker. I am very happy with this product compared to the other brands I have used (including Redkin, Chi, Nexxus, Paul Mitchell, Paul Brown...). I just was not satisfied with the other products, and I am with this one. Worth the price, a little goes a loooong way.
