(More customer reviews)I'm 48 years old and my hair is long and naturally wavy, but thinning (runs in the family). I had been using Matrix Vavoom Mousse and liked the shine, the way it kept my curls and how it didn't flake and feel goopy. I ran out and went to my beauty supply store to get some more. They quit carrying the Matrix Vavoom products and the young sales girl with perfect hair told me I should try this Goldwell product because it would not be flaky on my hair, and in fact, was perfect to use on dry hair as well as wet. So I took it home and used it. At first I hated it and was determined to take it back, but that's because it was nothing like the Vavoom product I was use to. It's totally different and I was not prepared for how different it would be. I decided to give it one more try before taking it back. Now I could see that it was actually making my hair look fully, and it did keep the curl, although not a crunchy curl like I was use to, but a softer, more touchable kind of curl. It also gives me the shine I like and NO FLAKES! Now I've tried it both wet and dry and I'm sold. I can't believe I was contemplating taking it back for a refund?! Was I crazy?! My hair looks fuller and more beautiful now than it has in 3 years...I couldn't be happier with a hair product...actually, this is the very first time I've ever liked a hair care product well enough to bother writing a review about it. I've ordered other products through Amazon, like the WEN products before...won't be making that mistake again! Little tip on the side...if you want to wash your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo, you can't go wrong with Costco's Kirkland brand Hair Conditioner...I wash my hair with it and it's great...much better than WEN and way less expensive (and it smells exactly like the Redkin Exteme product line). My husband is a big fan of CRH hair serum (sometimes available at Costco) which smells so great, sometimes I use it on my legs after shaving. Try it, you'll get lots of compliments on the scent.
