(More customer reviews)My 12 yr old daughter has alopecia areata - bald spots. One of these spots is on the crown of her head and quite visible (size of large coin). Using this product has reduced the stress level 100%. That is not saying that it is perfect...it is comparing using this vs not using.
If we sprinkle (yes like salt) the fibers on the spot, put hair spray to glue in place, take the hair closest to her spot and comb it over the spot, put more spray to keep that hair in place...her spot becomes virtually invisible.
If we were to only comb her hair over her bald spot we could see the spot miles away.
She now goes to school reassured.
It does not....I mean not....stay in place in extreme weather conditions as advertised!!! We learned this the hard way when she got to school on a very humid wet day and no more hair spray or fibers...spot wide open and very visible...and very upset daughter.
But...no big deal, now we know...We still use the stuff but she wears the cutest baseball cap if it is anywhere close to humid outside.
So...for my daughter's situation it works great until her hair grows back. I am not sure how this would work without a lot of hair around to cover up...

(More customer reviews)Love, Love, LOVE this product. For those of us with thinning hair, especially women, this stuff is really great. It comes in lots of colors and is forgiving in terms of the shade not being EXACT to what you have. It is so easy - just sprinkle it on, comb it through and style. Spritz just a bit of any cheap hairspray for staying power. I use mine mostly on the top part of my head - from the hairline (bangs) back a few inches. :o)

With that product I had to use two different colors (gray and brown) to get the same effect as gray with Super Million. It also shakes out more easily. I will be buying more.

They dont blend well and get easily remove with sweat or any sort of liquid, NOT THIS PRODUCT!! This is fantastic, it really coats your hair making it look MUCH thicker and fuller. I instantly noticed a difference and feel much more confident out in public when using this item. Going swimming? NOT A PROBLEM! The only way this comes off is if you shampoo your hair. This is THE easy solution to help cover up thin spots in your hair. TRUST ME . You will love this product as much as I have. I consider myself a life long user from this point on.

This is the answer to my problem of thinning hair. In our society, men can get bald, but for women, it is not acceptable! Due to taking fairly strong medication for the past 13 years, my hair has slowly become more and more thin, leaving several spots that were quite obviously bald, especially along the part line. I would spend a lot of time styling my hair and trying to cover each thinning spot "just right" and then using lots of hairspray. But as soon as I went outside, the slightest wind would "mess it up" and the baldness would again be visable. I was embarrassed and thought I'd try Toppik. It actually works! I was so pleased. My hair is still thin, but no pink scalp is showing through when I use this product. I feel so much better about my hair, do not spend nearly as much time with my hair, and am not as self-conscious about the thinning areas as the white hair building fibers (my hair is already white) fill in and cover the bald areas. It makes me look like I am not losing all my hair. It's a little expensive, but the price is worth it for me.

(More customer reviews)Well I bought a bottle of this stuff about a month ago. I had heard of Topik and hair cubed but wasn't sure what to expect. Since Nano was cheaper and had good reviews saying it was as good as the other products, I had to try it out. I was very happy with the product!! I have been thinning and have a small bald spot in the back/top part of my head. This product made it all go away. It makes me look 5 years younger and the best part is how it stays put. I was worried of moister because I work out and on a hot day I tend to Perspire, I didn't want to be somewhere with black stuff leaking from my head. But I was VERY surprised at how it holds up to water, even in the Gym with a full sweat going, it stays put. I was also worried about how REAL it was going to look, even in full sun, No one could tell I had any product on!! it blends so well. Only problem is, in the front of the hairline- got to be careful on blending it in little by little or I can tell it doesn't look right. But with practice I got it down now. SORRY cant compare this product since it has been the only one I have tried, but Definitely happy with the results. I also used COUVRE and it works well with this product I use COUVRE to cover the scalp and Nanogen to give my hair Body. I could use just the Nanogen with the same result but it seems like I have to use a bunch of it, so the COUVRE is a good Combo. Oh and yes it you scratch your head the Nanogen gets under your nails, not a big deal but if you remember not to scratch its probably better than looking like you have dirty nails.
