(More customer reviews)This product reminds you of another well known PETROLEUM BASED pomade, Tres Flores (Three Flowers). I purchased this product thinking that I was going to get what the label states "100% PURE AUSTRALIAN BEESWAX". This product, though, is PETROLEUM BASED (petroleum jelly) and has mixed in it the beeswax, so the label is a bit misleading. The product smells good enough to put in your hair, if that's why you are buying it, but if you really wanted 100% Beeswax then this is not what you want to buy. "amazon.com" should list the ingredients to this product so that consumers know exactly what they are buying. I would use this product on my own head, but unfortunately I shave my head and therefore have no real use for it. I gave this product 4 stars for what it is intended for, not because I bought something I don't need.

I've kept it short in an effort to manage it better and have tried almost every hair putty, paste and texturizer sold. Nothing worked until I found Loreal Overworked. Anyway I recently bought the American Crew Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner, and it does a decent enough job, but it left my hair feeling a little stiff. It looked and felt clean, but it was not nearly as good as you would think for the price. I know everyone's hair is different and for someone with short hair it might be great, but in my case my hair is about three inches long on top and just over the ears and I just don't care for the way my hair feels when using this Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner. So I bought the Paul Mitchell and honestly there's a huge difference.
So over all in my opinion it's OK, but not great.

(More customer reviews)I have straight, somewhat thin Asian hair, and American Crew Forming Creme is one of the better products I've used. Compared to other AC products I've tried (Fiber, Pomade and Texture Creme), Forming Creme has medium-strong hold (slightly less than Fiber, but stronger than Pomade or Texture Creme), and medium shine (more than Fiber, less than Pomade).
The Forming Creme is a white, thick creme. Compared with Fiber, the closest product, it is easier to work with and apply. However, Forming Creme does not smell nearly as nice. It's important only to use a little at a time; otherwise it make hair look greasy and smell like the inside of a salon. When it dries it loses some hold but keeps hair natural looking.
For short hair I'd prefer Fiber, but Forming Creme is a good option for longer hair with more shine.

It felt great - I love that feeling of the wind blowing through my hair, giving my scalp a little tingle, after I get a new hair cut! I finally asked her what she used and she said it was the American Crew Daily Conditioner.
After shopping around a little, I decided to buy two bottles of the American Crew Daily Conditioner from Amazon.com. The Amazon.com price for the 2-pack is pretty much unbeatable unless you work in the beauty industry and can get wholesale discounts. The 33.8 oz (1 liter) bottles ship with a piece of tape over the top they don't leak while shipping - easy and effective. And since I live abroad, I only buy this when I travel to the US - The tape is a huge lifesaver for putting it in my checked luggage.
I pair this conditioner with the American Crew Daily Shampoo and use them every morning. The tingling sensation is definitely a great way to wake up! Let the conditioner sit in your hair for about 3 minutes and you'll feel it tingle. I have fairly short hair so one pump is enough for me. I've been using both for about 5 months now and was worried that I might go through the conditioner more than the shampoo, or vice versa. However, I checked recently and the bottle of shampoo vs. the conditioner are almost dead even, so I'm clearly using just the right amount.
It's not the most fancy conditioner out there, but it works well, and the price for a 2-pack from Amazon.com cannot be beat. If you think you'll like this stuff, do the Subscribe and Save option - you will save even more money.
(One point of caution - do NOT rub your eyes in the shower immediately after you put the conditioner in your hair, even after you wash the conditioner off your hands. Use some soap first and get the oils from the conditioner out of your hands or you'll get a funny tingly sensation in your eyes too!)
