I like to apply a bit to my palms and rub them together which renders it clear and then apply to my hair. I have a wild cow-lick on my head and it adds some weight and control to prevent my inner Alfalfa from springing forward. As it settles onto your hair over time, it compliments your own hair and scalp natural oils and has a light feel. I have short hair so one jar lasts me months.
