(More customer reviews)It works best and only, it seems, on virgin hair. Also you MUST MUST keep on foaming it. You cannot just leave it on and expect it to work! Some of my roots were not even dyed! The heat from my hair seemed to also advance the color (obvious I know). Otherwise the color was pretty light (almost a strawberry light red blonde). I would buy it again only to make my color even and more consitent. I did get compliments. It is the color on the box but a bit lighter on me because I have fine, medium brown hair. I kinda look strange but it looks like the sun dyed my head. Not bad product, just human errors make it worse
