(More customer reviews)This is my favorite styling gel for my Type 3B curly hair (see naturallycurly.com, Hair Types). It gives me the smoothest, loosest curls without long-term crunch. I do not use a hair dryer, and there is an hour or so after my hair dries naturally that it feels a little "glued" and still looks wet, but that goes away by itself. Also, I like that I can feel my hair move. You know what I mean if you've had a lifetime of tangled-up fuzz that doesn't swing around like it does on all those straight-haired girls.
It doesn't give you the firm control that some styling creams & gels do. If you find it's not enough, just try using more, keeping in mind you'll have a short-term "glued" feel. (The word glued makes it sound worse than it is, but I can't think of another word to describe it.)
