Now, my hair doesn't turn out the color of the box (i think because my hair is red in the first place and it changes every semi-permanent hair color a different color.) It comes out more of a really dark color with a purplish/red tint, especially in the sunlight, or any kind of light for that matter.
It normally stays a bright color in my hair only about 2 weeks...by the 4th, I definitely have to re-dye it and thats the only downfall of this product

My local hair product store just closed down, so I found the same product, Color Charm, online. I use two colors in a 50/50 blend. Don't forget to purchase the developer. Yes, it slowly washes out in two months, but it looks more natural than that dark (or gray) grow-out line one gets from a permanent color. Gentle on the hair, and no eye-burning smell.

(More customer reviews)This is the best blonde hairdye product I've ever bought. All other blondes turn orange or brassy. This hairdye actually has a packet of bleach that you add in, and that keeps it from turning any other color but bleach blonde. I am so happy with this product. It is VERY hard to find in stores. Only Walmart carries it, and today actually I went to 2 different Walmarts and they were on clearance with none left :( I hope they aren't dis-continueing this because then I'm back to square one trying to find a hairdye that equals up to this one. It works great on my dark brown hair getting it to the blonde that is exactly pictured on the box. Can't believe it's so inexpensive too. People don't believe me that my hair isn't professionally done.

Worked well on my grays, my hair is becoming somewhat resistant to hair dye, but this worked well. I like the avocado oil, it makes my hair look and feel a lot healthier. I found combing out my newly dyed hair was a lot easier than I experienced using other products.

Excess dye washes right off of scalp, doesn't have an odor, and doesn't burn the scalp . My last application was about 4 months ago, so I can say that it did last longer than expected. Doesn't contain peroxide or ammonia so I applied after my relaxer and my hair looks amazing! I will continue to use this!

(More customer reviews)I've read a lot of reviews where people use lightest brown shades and end up with green or grayish hair. Or worse yet, orange! When a color says "golden", in hair color terms Gold = Red/orange. If it says "neutral" or "natural", that usually won't give you any greens or grays. But when it says "ash", Ash = Green/purple/gray. In order to neutralize the reds in your hair, they put in green or purple to tone it way down and that's what ash means.
All that said, this color, #115, Natural Lightest Brown, is the only hair color I've found that is exactly what I want. I have a lot of red in my hair and this tones it down and gives me a nice light brown color while still keeping some sparkle in my hair. It covers my grays perfectly and keeps nice highlights too!
