(More customer reviews)As anyone with dreadlocks knows, you can't just use any old shampoo to wash them. I've heard of people using ridiculous stuff to wash their dreads, from Ivory soap (NO NO NO, drys your dreads out like nothing else!), to dish soap. There are only a handful of shampoos made specifically for dreadlocks on the market. The two biggest brands seem to be this and Dreadhead HQ. I've tried them both, and I definitely recommend the Knotty Boy. It rinses cleaner, smells great (my whole apartment smells like mint after I wash my hair, whereas the Dreadhead HQ is essentially scent-free), is completely biodegradeable (great for camping), and leaves my dreads feeling softer and less dried-out. Definitely recommended.
