I have wavy/curly moderately thick hair and have used the products for five years without interruption. The nice smelling gel dries beautifully in damp or wet hair, holds curls in place without stiffness, and never, never flakes. I use liberal amounts, three squirts to work through all of my hair from the underneath to the top, so I buy the 32 oz size in order to last a few months. Just re-wetting your hair with a mist sprayer or even wet hands allows you to freshen your curls as needed during the day, and even works well after sleeping all night. It is well worth the expensive purchase price in my opinion.
