However, I dropped it on a hard floor quite a few times and broke off chips of ceramic, which ended up pulling my hair. (Even after all the smacks on the floor, it still heated up fast and hot!!) So, this blueberries and cream Corioliss beauty has replaced my previous one. It's fast to heat up and makes my hair as smooth as silk!
One thing I love about it is the ceramic plates are not sharp at the edges...they curve gently which makes it possible to put waves and even curls in my hair (the booklet that comes with it shows the technique to use to makes waves and curls).
Function aside...this blueberries and cream model is beautiful!! This was an amazing deal, considering how much this iron costs on the Corioliss website and other salon product sites. And, of course (as always), Amazon is a great place to shop. Shipping was fast and reasonable, too!
Get this flat iron, you won't be disappointed!!!
