They work well with holding the ends of hair when the hair is braided, twisted or even for the end of a ponytail. The small size makes them fantastic for styling little kids hair. With such a large quantity of 500, there really is no need to have to reuse them, especially when it comes to hair-do's.
As a snag-free option for babies and very small children, it may be better to use Pack of 500 Snag-Free Small Black Rubber Bands for Styling, Kids Hair, Braids Hair, Dreadlocks, Babies, Hair Twists, Ethnic Styles and Even Fishing, Urban Essence Brand. These snag free bands do not pull hair like most other black rubber bands.
Aside from hair, I have used the Urban Essence bands for many other applications:
For fishing to hold soft bait such as worms, liver and even shrimp on the hook. They can be used as bobber stops or to fasten the hook to a rod. You can also fasten small chem-lights to bobbers or rod tips when night time fishing.
I have a school-aged child and these little bands come in handy for many school projects and with general arts and crafts. They work well to make plastic wrap stay on bottles and small bowls. My husband has even used these to repair the bendable type of action figures.
They seem to be more stretchy and durable when compared to other brands I have used. Thus, I am very happy with this brand and highly recommend these with confidence!
