I used to have lovely, thick, dark hair that all of my friends and family envied, but over just the span of three years, it thinned out to about half of its normal expanse. After blowing through pretty much everything on the market with no satisfactory results, I decided to give up and just deal with my new hair. One night, my sister brought home the Matrix Amplify Color XL Shampoo from her salon to care for my colored-treated hair. As I was blow drying my hair after using the product, I noticed that it felt a lot fuller. I thought that maybe it was just the humidity of the summer and continued drying my hair. But as soon as I looked in the mirror when it was completely dry, my hair looked extremely different. Not only did the color look great (very shiny and multi-dimensional, but my hair was dramatically fuller. Less of my scalp was visible, and when I went to school the next day, I got lots of compliments on the shine and thickness of my hair. After reading the back of the bottle, I learned that not only was this shampoo designed to protect the color of your hair, but to expand it. I recommend this product to anyone who wants a little something more for their hair. Amazon sells this shampoo and conditioner at a great price. At my local salon, a 12 oz bottle of this shampoo and conditioner is $14.95 each. But Amazon is currently selling a 33.8 oz bottle of shampoo and a 33.8 oz bottle of conditioner together for just $28. Anyone worried about the authenticity of this product when ordering online should not worry. I have ordered this through Amazon before, and I guarantee that the product produces the same result as if you purchased it from the salon. My opinion is, don't think, just buy this product NOW!
