(More customer reviews)My husband has tried various brands of gel for his hair. SOme are stiff, some are sticky, some make you look like you have dandruff (the gel flakes onto your shoulders) some leave residue on your chairs (yuck) but the "Melting Gel" by L'Oreal does not do any of those things. It's a basic gel for good hold.
They quit carrying it in the stores (have shopped several different stores, and I can no longer locate it) so I will start purchasing it online. When we were unable to find it, we tried another L'Oreal gel that looked similar.."Clear Minded Clean Gel," but the texture was not right. It had the blue bar on the bottle like the Melting Gel, but wasn't anywhere near similar.
I suppose we'll buy several bottles in case they're discontinuing it for some reason.
