It doesn't weigh hair down at all, and does not cause any oiliness. It completely adds shine and helps with styling, and it makes hair feel unbelievably great. I've tried many products that look the same over the years but no other even comes close to this product's effectiveness in creating shine, control, healthy bounce. It's really amazing. You only need to use the tiniest bit so a bottle lasts a long time.
