(More customer reviews)I bought our first Jerdon 1600W wall mount 5 years ago. It was heavily used by my teen daughter and, under those circumstances, lasting 5 years is pretty good. When it finally died, I wanted to replace with same, since the holes were already in the wall, plus it helps reduce counter clutter to have a wall-mounted hairdryer. So far so good on the second one, which has been used daily for for a month so far. I expect to get another 5 years out of this one.
