It probably is a little tricky with longer hair, but the tubes do have a pointed applicator. It has helped my dry scalp, and we all know the antibiotic & healing qualities of sugar, but the best thing about this product is how amazingly fantastic it feels to scrub your scalp in a way you can't do with shampoo.
