Sometimes, SOMETIMES, it's the little inexpensive, no frills product that takes you by surprise. This gel does NOT flake or make hair crunchy, nor dry out. AND, if seeking slicked back into braid, ponytail, french twist style, gelling from forehead on back, hair stays down for entire day--no fly-aways--no frizz. We use a good glob of it, and it gets the job done--no touch-ups necessary, regardless of high winds, humidity, or rain (we've lived all over the world--trust me: we've been exposed to some treacherous weather and this stuff holds up!)
