(More customer reviews)I am half Filipino and African American and my daughter is 25% of me and 25% Kenyan. We both have really curly long hair. This stuff is awesome!! It makes my hair more curly, less frizy, and more flatter (if you know what I mean-less afro poofy would be another way of saying it!).
My toddler daughter and her hair when we use the stuff, which is in the morning after taking a shower or bath, and we usually put it in her hair straight out of the shower. She is sensitive about anyone touching her hair, combing her hair, etc. With this stuff it makes it more easier for her to do her hair and the conditioner allows it to go through her hair with no problems. It looks awesome in the morning, but towards the afternoon does tend to poof up a little bit more but less than before finding this stuff. Before used to use blue magic (deep hair conditioner), baby oil, or pink oil conditioner but like this stuff much better.
Now we always get great comments now about our daughter's hair. I could go on and on, but I will just say we are half way through the big bottle (little bottle way too small) and about to buy more!!
The best results have come from the following usage:
1. put mixed chicks leave in conditioner in one's hair whether child or adult straight out of the shower with hair still very wet.
2. Use comb or brush (not with big, thick thistles) that is thin and seperated.
3. If going to style, style it at that time as it will be easy to do at this time. If leaving down natural, do not fuss with the hair several times or it may dry out and look poofy. When wet, use enough of the conditioner, that it is stringy curly and it will mostly dry this way toward the end of the day. when using hair oil silk to make shiny do this but proceed with more leave in conditioner on top of this.
Let set in and see results.
Good Luck=)
