Natural oils are okay, sometimes, but I'm so accustomed to zero-fragrance that I prefer my products to be fragrance free. It's really, frustratingly difficult to find GOOD fragrance free products in general, but hair products are a whole other story.
I recently got a short pixie haircut, but my hair is curly and for my hair to be this short I needed something that could help me sculpt my hair into submission with out making my scalp burn or my hair look greasy. This stuff is amazing. Scoop out a dime sized amount and work it in your palms and then distribute where desired. I like my hair to have a slight wave to it. This stuff lets me look like a refined sort of edgy, which was what I wanted it my pixie cut to begin with.
The product keeps your hair looking matte, a plus because I'm usually gone ALL day. And, it doesn't make me scratch my scalp until I bleed or burn after application.
I'm super pleased. For the price and the versatility this product offered, it's a good deal!
