(More customer reviews)I wanted something less mineral oily than Brylcreem due to 1) the break-outs I was getting around my hairline and 2) when I would sweat it would grease me up.
This product requires my hair to be a bit more dry before applying it, but once it's in it gives me the control I need that Brylcreem did (although I still use the ol' Bryl when it comes to fancier evenings. Something about the shine that it provides makes you look fresh). Also it doesn't run too much when I sweat. You can't fully stop any product from mixing with your sweat and running down, but this isn't as drastic as Bryl is.
