I had dark brown hair (dyed) and bleached it to a dark golden blond.
The color turned out perfect magenta and stayed in my hair for over three months before I decided to change style. It never even started to fade.
Still now, after dying my hair brown black I can still see hints of the color were it used to be. And the other parts of my hair that I bleached over are still pinkish.
Be caferul when dying tho... this will stain everything!! It stained my tub, brush, pillows, even the straightening iron is still pink.
