(More customer reviews)i brought this product after reading all the reviews on it from amazon and other places i wanted to add shine to my hair and change my hair color without using harsh products. well i followed the directions except when i was waiting for it to cool off i put i ice pack on top of my shower cap to seel in the color but i did wait the 5 min anyways, after i washed it out my hair felt coated like everyone said but if felt kinda hard also, but after i shampooed and conditioned it was soft and it made my hair jet black which i loved because everyone said it would only give you a hue in your hair but it changed my whole hair color. the only thing i didnt like was that it didnt give my hair much shine like everyone was raving about i mean thats one of the main reasons i brought this product was for the shine but i did love the color it came out thats why i gave it four stars
ps. the color i got was deep brunette you do need to wear gloves because it is very messy and it will stain your skin but not runny like other products, oh and it kinda smells like paint to me anyway
