She recommended that I use it before I blow dry my hair and after to protect hair from heat and to lock in shine. I've bought this product ever since and this seller does a good job of getting me the product right away (it came within 5 days and I asked for standard shipping). The product smells very salon-professional, which I like, and it does a good job of protecting my hair since I blow dry every day. I think it's probably be fine to use this even if you don't have a perm... it smells great anyways! I would definitely recommend this product.
