(More customer reviews)I have tried other shampoos for color-treated hair, only to have them shorten the life of the color. Redken does not do that; like the other reviewer said, it really lengthens the time between salon visits for color. It keeps the color better than any product out there, and the cost is worth it because it does last so long. My hair is naturally curly and coarse, and the conditioner smooths the rough spots; it is also red, which I have always been told that red hair keeps color the shortest length of time. That's why I use this shampoo.
