(More customer reviews)Thanks to my hair dresser, I know this is the same stuff as their previous California Hair Stay Sculpting Lotion, which was a personal favorite of mine.
That product was a liquid which I understand some stylists found difficult to handle instead of a gel or foam. So the company took this great product and added some compressed air and voila...Pop rocks, a foamy popping liquid that is a bit easier to handle.
You have to be prepared for the volatile sound this product makes. It is like pop rocks in your hand. My hairdresser luckily showed me that it pops and cracks once sprayed out of its container. Otherwise I think in my half asleep morning state, it would have scared the daylights out of me.
But enough about the sound and more about what it does. Like its predecessor it helps control hair that gets frizzy in moist air and gives a layered cut a nice flow. It helps separate the hairs and they glide over one another.
I like the silky feel and the control. Mind you it is a subtle control and not hard and plasticy.
I'll be buying more that's for sure.
