(More customer reviews)I'm African-American with relaxed hair. I was looking for a good chelating-clarifying shampoo to help remove the buildup on my hair. After hours of reviewing (I'm very picky about what I put in my hair), I chose this one. Now it's no miracle product, but it did what it was suppposed to do, which was clean my hair. My hair felt very clean but most importantly not stripped. I was very scared that my hair would be left a dry, tangled mess, but it wasn't. However I did pre-condition my hair with coconut oil, which may have helped, and I also washed my hair a second time with a moisturizing shampoo. I will use this product again in the future when I feel my hair needs a good cleansing.
