Here's the key: leave it on a good five minutes at least, as long as you reasonably can while you shave your legs or whatever. Then rinse for 2 full minutes with COLD water. It closes the hair shaft and my hair came out smoother and shinier after the blowdry. I have fine, graying hair, colored blonde w/hilights. It gets frizzy, limp and dull in a hurry. This shampoo makes it soft and full again, but the cold water rinse gives the best results. I get best results by following with Terax Crema conditioner, better than the Philip B conditioners, and I've tried nearly all of them. The 12 oz. tub lasted 6 months w/ 2 to 3 times a week useage.
