(More customer reviews)I got the treatment done at a hair salon yesterday and I am soo pleased with the results! I was skeptical. I am African-American with unprocessed hair. I veered to this treatment because I heard it was healthier for the hair and, if you didn't like it, the treatment is washed out in three months. So I considered buying this product online and doing it myself but ultimately decided to pay the 300 bucks to get it done in a salon (in WashDC). It took 2 hours, but my hair literally went from so frizzy you could barely get a comb through my afro-puff, to silky smooth and shiny. The hairstylist informed me in advance that due to the texture of my hair, the results would likely wear off in 2 months. But, she said, if I get it done consistently, by the third treatment (four months from now) I should see such an improvement that even after washing my hair it should dry flat and the treatment will last 3-4 months. Here are the con's: yeah, there is a fume that sorta makes your eyes water; its expensive, more expensive than a chemical relaxer; you shouldn't wash your hair (or otherwise get it wet) or put pins or clips in your hair for three days while the treatment "soaks in",(I wrapped it last night before I went to bed, woke up with a great fall); and, you gotta put a lot of heat on the hair for the treatment to take. But all in all this is worth it. I will keep getting it done, I love it! -- if that changes or if the hair does not last the expected two months, I will update this post. For now my advise, get this treatment to bust your frizz!
