I'd found it to effectively cover my gray, condition my hair and have very little odor. What odor there is was not offensive. Since I had such great luck with their hair color I decided to try their highlights. I just returned from my stylist's. She and I were very impressed with this product but we have one HUGE caveat. There was very little product in the one box that I ordered. I have shoulder length, fine hair and we were only able to do the front of my hair and my bangs. I wanted my whole head done and to accomplish this we would have needed 3 boxes! My stylist said that she doesn't think she could have done the whole head of someone with short hair. In summary, this is a wonderful product but be sure to order enough!
