(More customer reviews)I first used and purchased this, as well as the "Enjoy Creamy Pomade," at a FL hairdressing salon in June of '09, while they were trying the product line out. While in CO I purchased the Mousse online through Amazon, am still using the Pomade. I have colored and highlighted, mostly white hair that is wavy, tends to be dry --especially in arid Colorado where I add the pomade in heavier amounts-- and fine and I have a lot of it, even if I don't have quite as much as I used to. Some mousse, and "boost" type products make it feel unacceptably dry as they contain alcohol, this is alcohol free. Or they can feel sticky and awful and weigh down the fine strands of my hair. Or worse, aggravate my Seborrheic Dermatitis. This Mousse is the nicest I've ever used and doesn't do any of the nasty things I've mentioned and I've tried many over the years. I have been having my hair colored for 40+ years. IMO it has a light, barely noticeable, but pleasant scent -- granted if I unscrew the bottle top and smell the concentrated liquid it's too strong for me, but it doesn't come out of the bottle smelling like that. I'm allergic to some chemicals and very sensitive to many odors and perfumes, which limits my purchases. This product lifts and conditions (slightly) my hair while it's being blown dry and allows the wave to remain in the hair. Other effective root boost's seem to make it straighter and much dryer and can be too heavy, eliminating my natural wave. I must also mention that although it seems pricey you get a LOT of product out of it. It's heavily aerated when you push down on the manual nozzle (uses no CFC's) and the product comes out very foamy and spreads well. Don't use too much, a little goes further than you think, when you feel how light it is. When the container felt as if it had run out it surprisingly, kept producing more product. I really like this one!
