(More customer reviews)My stylist first started using this product on my hair many years ago (in the 80's)and it was pretty damaged at the time. She would use it after a relaxer, put a plastic cap on my head and sit me under the dryer for 5-10 minutes. (A dryer is not necessary though). I could really see the change in my hair--it became stronger and thicker and was in just great shape! I then started buying it and using it at home between visits to the salon. I wash my hair every week and think I used it every week.
I'm not sure why but for some reason, I stopped using it. I think something happened in my finanical situation and so I was cutting back. I've been using it again now and went through some problems with my hair a few years ago and started using it again because my hair was at its healthiest when I was using it before.
If your hair is damaged, dry, brittle, etc., this may help--especially if your hair is relaxed. They have a few different formulas so be sure to buy the one right for the condition of your hair.
One tip: the product comes in little ampules. When you open, place directly on your hair--not in your hand! It has the consistency of water so putting it in your hands would run all over the place!!
