I admit, I only bought it to complete my Star Trek halloween costume and had to guess on the color (I have brown hair with highlights, so I wasn't sure it'd really match or look okay, but figured I may was well give it a shot). Well, it blended perfectly. My roommate didn't know it was a phony, and she sees me all the time! It's very easy, you could practically do it in the dark.
Just make a ponytail, clip the little teeth on top of it, velcro the pony around and then bobby pin the hair that is designated as an elastic cover-up around. It looks gorgeous.
And what I didn't know when I orderd it is that you can actually style it with heat. Haven't attempted it yet, but good to know.
