(More customer reviews)This is a decent protein conditioner, but it should come with a word of caution. DO NOT OVERUSE. The amount of protein content is high which is great if your hair is weak and needs strengthening. If, however, your hair is also dry, from heat styling, sun, aging, etc. you need to alternate with a moisturizing conditioner, as this one will tend to further dry out the hair. Once a week is maximum, preferably less, depending on the results that you get after the first time, or two.
If used properly, you will find, even after the first use, a strengthening of the hair shaft. I would advise it for anyone who has highlights or bleached hair immediately following the procedure to minimize damage.And, to keep it on for at least ten minutes before rinsing.
It's the type of conditioner that will last for a year or more, because you would use it only when your hair needs it, not on a regular basis, so the price should not scare you away. Sometimes, I will mix a little of this conditioner with a moisturizing one and apply together with excellent results.
"Reparative" is what it is, and as long as you use it as a treatment, you will be very happy with this one.
