It's easy to use, does not stain skin and sink and walls, it keeps well and a bottle can be used for more than one job if your hair is not very long (in spite of what they tell you). There is no issue with roots- the color just gradually and evenly fades. When you decide you are ready to add more color, it takes less than an hour from start to finish, including clean-up. Unfortunately, it is rapidly disappearing from the shelves of stores, so I'm ordering a supply on line.
