Out of all the things that help hold hair back- hair ties, hair bands, fabric hair bands, hair clips, etc..the velcro hair guard is my favorite. It really holds your hair back and after putting it on for hours, when you take it off you don't get these bent hairs that make you look stupid. I just use them for when i wash my face, but it is very practical to use for when you wanna apply makeup and you don't want hair fringe or bangs getting mascara or lipstick on them.
It's most definitely worth trying especially when it's so cheap!
