We both have found it to be very effective in providing body and hold without any stiffness at all. We have fine hair and it is hard to find hair products that work well for us - this one is great! Plus, even though it is a small bottle, I used it every day for 5 months before it ran out. Just 2 squirts of the foaming mousse was plenty for my short, fine hair. Others may find they need more, but it still will last a long time.
