(More customer reviews)I was worried when I emptied the color out into the plastic bowl. It looked like a brown goopy mess! Plus I had just been coming off my first try at Jerome Russel, Violet, which was VERY dark, so I stripped the dye and my hair was worse than bleached: painful ugly thatch of straw. I felt like this was a disaster in the making. Imagine my surprise (after sulking the while time I had the color in) when I rinsed and it looked GREAT. The product is full of conditioners, and made my hair go from straw to silky. The color was rich with low tones and highlights, just beautiful. The only thing I have to say, and it was this was with Violet by Jerome Russell, I just did not know what in the world I was getting-the color that came was NOT what it looked like on the bottle. I guess that is hard and a bit nit-picky, but with other brands so out there with pictures of what they look like, I am on a mission to let people know what Jerome Russel punky looks like because I have tried them all and this brand is truly the best. (and yes, that is me in the picture for the customer review- for the violet also)
