(More customer reviews)I bought this straightener from one of the kiosks in the mall at the end of 2008. Before that I owned the Corioliss, which was also great. I think the Amika is wearing better. It's definitely worth the price (or more), and I usually only take 5 minutes when I'm in a hurry. It works even better when you take 15 min and do it in small layers. My hair tends to get frizzy if it's snowing or drizzling out, but I've noticed when I straighten it, it stays smooth. My only complaints are that mine did not come with clips, and the case does not really fit it very well. I'm not sure how that translates to buying it online rather than at a mall though. I recommend it to all my friends who straighten their hair.
