(More customer reviews)My mother gave it to me a couple of years ago. By then I had tried several hair products. When I first tried this gel, I knew that this was one for me. I have thick Asian hair that requires heavy duty controlling which it does very well if I were to stylize my hair. This gel is exceptional in that it doesn't turn into white flakes at all unlike some other gels. Who would want to have white flakes sitting on their hair looking like you have a dandruff problem? And it has a mild scent to it and gives a nice and natural sheen to your hair. Also, it isn't sticky once it is dried which I like. That avoids attracting dust and what have you. It works best if you apply it to slightly dampened hair. Wash your hair first and then dry it with your towel and then apply a little bit of the gel to your hair. And then you can use your comb to stylize your hair the way you like it. I couldn't find these gels at the local stores; I thought they had stopped manufacturing. So I stopped styling my hair altogether for a couple of years. That is until now. I am so glad that Amazon carries this. I just got my order (pack of 2) so I am happy.
