(More customer reviews)I was looking for the least toxic non-permanent hair dye that colored well. The color is great and my hair was soft and silky after the first application. The color does fade more quickly, however, than traditional commercial brands do.
I will continue purchasing this product because 1) I can save unused portions of the creme for future application and 2) there is no chemical burn feel on my head typical of other traditional commercial dyes.
Although I will need to color a bit more more frequently, the overall cost is less because I can finish the bottle. Surya Henna does not caution users against more frequent coloring. I do not need to condition nearly as often as I no longer have the stiff "feel" of commercial hair dye.
