(More customer reviews)I saw these rollers in a popular women's magazine and ordered them after my stylist suggested that using these rollers would be easier than me trying to use a large round brush to add volume to my hair. My stylist was right! My hair is fine, but there is a lot of it and it is bone straight- it won't curl, it just likes to frizz and make me look like a deranged chinchilla who licked a light socket, or hang down making me look like a sad spaniel. When my hair is 80-90% dry, I put these rollers in my hair and continue to dry with my normal dryer. I use a curling mousse product I purchased at a large chain store, and my hair comes out looking like Courtney Cox's on her recent cover. In other words, these rollers help me tame my wild mane into a svelte timely professional hairstyle. My hair is down to the center of my back with long layers cut (14 inches) and graduated into the bottom layers so they are not obvious. The rollers give me volume with soft waves and make my look more piece-y. I did buy the rollers in other sizes and have used them to make other looks. Just make sure the rollers are completely cool before you take them out and I spray with a hairspray before I take them out. And be careful because the rollers do get hot. And one last note, for women who travel overseas and can't take hot rollers due to them blowing out on foreign voltage, these are a great alternative- the different sizes nest in each other for compact storage.
